-Poem-

The human heart can mend and mold
It can be healed and it can bestow.
As a heart is learning the flows of life it can
be tender to the touch or hardened
by reproach.
We set out in the mist
As security instinct; checking
For weak spots or spoils from the night.
To our dismay a flaw is seen
By his Grace do we make this decree
As such allows for the mending
To proceed!
Days such as these have sorrow and glee
As simple as it is
God’s mighty hand can’t always be seen.
We fear the labor or the cost
To fix yet another broken board as if our Father
Isn’t waiting to help us
To teach us his tricks that only He knows
To aid in healing
As we share our soul.
The heart holds value to that it knows
To that which it has felt
Not simply warned of, but life imprinted
Into the very structure of.
So disappointed by our broken fence
Brings joy to the one who created you; a moment in
Life to hold so close when you can
Finally see that only God knows.
